IFA, the official partner of future, has always been the most popular platform to the electronics giants for revealing their new products to the world. Similar to every year, all top tech-giants were gathered at IFA consumer electronics show 2015 in Berlin to showcase their new products.

In previous posts, we have covered the innovative 4K display TVs and OLEDs, trendy smart wearable and high-end tablets. Similarly, smartphone manufactures like Sony, Lenovo and Acer has also revealed their upcoming models.

Besides these mobile vendors, others have also revealed their upcoming smartphones at the same platform. Let’s have a look at them.

#1 Huawei Mate S:

Since every electronics giant especially the smartphone vendors has made the most of IFA consumer electronics show 2015 to showcase their high-end, out-of-the-box, upcoming smartphone models, Huawei has also revealed its revolutionary smartphone Huawei Mate S, an addition to the Mate family.

Tech-geeks were expecting that this model would have a bigger display size but the vendors have kept the screen size to 5.5-inch LCD. One thing that makes it different from the rest of the smartphones launched ever is that it features ‘Force Touch’, the technology first developed by Apple. Although Apple has introduced this technology in their smart wearable but Huawei is the first to introduce this feature in a smartphone ever.

Talking about its hardware, this high-end mobile phone is running on HiSilicon Kirin 935 64-bit octa-core processors feauring 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. Moreover, to keep mobile running for long, Huawei has packed a mighty 2,700 mAh battery.

Huawei has used AMOLED ONCELL display technology for its 5.5-inch LCD making it a higher resolution display. Besides the LCD, it is equipped with 13-megapixel BSI OIS shooter for taking group photos and an 8-megapixel front camera for snapping cool selfies with your gang of friends.

The newest handset of Huawei is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop along with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 3.1 feature. To provide an out-of-the-box experience to the users, Huawei has packed it with Knuckle Sense 2.0 tech for a wide range of features. The device will be open for pre-booking orders by the mid of September and it will be launched simultaneously in more than 25 countries all over the world.

#2 Alcatel OneTouch POP Up:

Alcatel has also made the most of the tech event IFA consumer electronics show 2015 and revealed the new member added to OneTouch smartphone family i.e. OneTouch Pop Up. Alcatel’s OneTouch smartphones comes with high-specs and low-price which makes them a tough competitor to the smartphones like Sony Xperia Z5. Besides the specs, the vendor has also tried to give a nicer look with a metallic body that does not only look good but also feels good in hand.

Speaking about the specs, it sports a 5-inch IPS display having 1280 x 720 resolution. This high-end smarpthone is running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 octa-core processors each clocked at 1.4 GHz making phone processing faster. Moreover, it features 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB by mounting a SD card.

To power this device up and to provide users with better stand-by timings, Alcatel has loaded a reasonable battery of 2,000 mAh. It has a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera so the user can take group snaps as well as snap selfies. Android 5.0 Lollipop is preloaded in the phone so the users can easily download and use the latest apps.

#3 Huawei G8:

Besides Mate S, Huawei has also announced another upper mid range Android smartphone G8 at IFA consumer electronics show 2015. The display size is same as of Huawei Mate S i.e. 5.5-inch LCD having 1920 x 1080 resolution, a full-high definition (FHD) display. The vendors have secure FHD with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass.

Heading over to the hardware configuration, this one is running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processors of 64-bit. Moreover, it has a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can be doubled to 64 GB by installing a microSD card.

Dissimilar to Mate S, it supports dual-SIM with LTE functionality on both. To keep it running for long, Huawei has added a powerful battery of 3,000 mAh. It features high resolution rear and front camera for taking perfect snaps with family and friends. The best thing about its cameras is that they come with a unique mode that has not seen before: Foodie mode. The makeup beautification feature is added in this mode to make things and people look more beautiful and attractive.

Talking about its distinguished features, it is loaded with Huawei’s Fingerprint Sense 2.0 having ability to do much more than a simple scanning lock. Huawei has also packed it with Emotion User Interface (Emotion UI) that enables user to do fun with gestures.

 #4 Alcatel OneTouch POP Star:

Alcatel has also revealed another member of their POP lineup at IFA consumer electronics show 2015 i.e. Alcatel OneTouch POP Star. Although, this one is less advanced than the POP Up model but it comes with customization option. The customization option allows you to be funky or professional with the same phone depending upon what you want to do with it.

Talking about its hardware configuration, it is running on MediaTek (MT6580) quad-core processor (clocking at 1.3 GHz). Moreover, it has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB by inserting a microSD card in your phone.

It sports a big 5-inch LCD with HD display having 1280×720 resolution. Speaking about the most notable feature of a smartphone these days, it has an 8 megapixel rear camera for snapping group photos and 5 megapixel selfie camera to capture best moments of your life.

To provide users with a better stand-by time, Alcatel has equipped this phone with a high capacitance battery of 2,500 mAh. To make it easier for user to download and run the latest apps without any hassle, Android 5.0 Lollipop is preloaded in it.
